A book fair paragraph & Composition for class 7,8

A book fair is a visually appealing event where various sorts of books are showcased for exposure and sale. It is now extremely popular in our country. Our country’s two main book fairs are the Ekushey Boi Mela and the Dhaka Boi Mela. Various small-scale book fairs are organized on other occasions, such as the Pahela Baishakh.

The significance of a book fair: Books are a repository of knowledge. Books may teach us about the past and the present. The book fair inspires us to buy books, which enables us to broaden our horizons. It arouses our interest in literature and culture.

My trip to a book fair: This year, I was really fortunate to attend the Ekushey Boi Mela. It took place on the campus of Bangla Academy. When I reached the fair’s main entrance, I found myself in a new environment. It became evident to me that a book fair is a world unto itself, apart from other fairs. According to the government, the event began on February 1st and was scheduled to continue a month.

My fair experience: I discovered that a large number of books on a wide range of topics were available at a book fair. The fair attracted men, women, and children of all socioeconomic backgrounds. Various publishers took up residence in the stalls. Many poets, novelists, and writers arrived to the fair in the evening. There was a large gathering of individuals selling and buying. The fair was primarily attended by young boys and girls who came to collect their favorite books. I purchased some of my favorite novels from a book booth.

Other fair attractions: It was my first time attending a book fair. I assumed that a book fair simply sold books. But that all changed when I went to the fair. Aside from books, other products sold at a book fair include cassettes of songs and recitations, calendars, posters, paintings, photos, collages, snacks, and little daily necessities.  Seminars and cultural programs are also held at a book fair, I discovered. I was ecstatic to see a staged drama based on the 1952 language movement. After leaving the fair, I returned home in the late evening.

Conclusion: The book fair provided me with several fresh experiences. My memories of the fair are still vivid. It improves people’s desire to buy books while also improving national consensus.
